About
Independent web design by Sebastian Uzice.
One designer, working directly with every client from the first conversation to launch.
I’m Sebastian Uzice. I’m an independent web designer based in Switzerland, and UZICE STUDIO is my practice.
What keeps me interested is the meeting point between how a website looks and how clearly it works. Presentation matters — a site should feel considered and professional — but it earns its keep when a few deliberate choices about order, language and pace turn something complicated into something a stranger understands in seconds.
The people behind UZICE STUDIO
UZICE STUDIO is led by Sebastian Uzice, who personally designs and builds every website. Xenja Staub supports the studio through organisation, communication and client care, helping every project run smoothly from the first conversation to launch.

Why independent
The person you brief is the person who builds it.
A small business rarely needs a department. It needs someone who understands the business, makes the decisions and is still reachable afterwards. Working with me means fewer handovers, quicker answers and one point of view holding the project together from the first sketch to the last check.
What a studio this size does well is attention, continuity and a direct line to the person doing the work. You always know who is designing your website, and why each decision was made.
How I think about it
Three things that shape every project.
01
Structure carries the argument
If the order of the pages is wrong, no amount of styling rescues it. So I settle the structure first, in writing, before anything is drawn — it is far cheaper to change at that stage, and it is what makes the finished site feel obvious.
02
Clarity outranks presentation
A site should feel fresh and professional without overwhelming the person using it. Presentation and clarity usually reinforce each other; where they pull apart, I choose the option that is easier to understand.
03
One detail makes the difference
The small gold square in the UZICE logo is the Presence Point. It is the only ornament in the identity, and it is a reminder: usually it is one intentional detail that makes a business noticeable.
The work
What that actually involves.
Every project includes some combination of the following, agreed at discovery.
- Positioning and website structure
- Content refinement, in English or German
- Individual design direction and typography
- Responsive development, built for real devices
- Accessibility and performance checks
- Domain connection, launch and ongoing care
If that sounds like the right fit.
